9 Income Streams Every Digital Marketer Needs (And One CRAZY Bonus)

It’s coming up on Thanksgiving and I just can’t think of anything I’m MORE thankful for than my multiple income streams. Having money coming in from different places is a HUGE savior in business and because of that… I figured I’d share 10 of my favorite income streams as well as one bonus one that may be the best of all of them!

Whether you want to diversify income or hit your first six figures, this list has something for you.

1. Affiliate Marketing

💸 The Idea: Promote products or services you love and earn a commission for every sale. Almost every product has an affiliate program you can sign up for, they cost nothing, and you just share what you like and use!
📈 Why It Works: People love recommendations so when you recommend something, the people around you will be much more likely to buy than if they saw an ad.

Examples:

• Promote SaaS tools like Wealthery Connect, Screen Studio, Descript, and more!

• Promote things you actually use! This is the easiest way to get started. Find a tool that helps you, tell othrs.

🔥 Pro Tip: Choose affiliate programs with recurring payouts (hint, hint… Wealthery Connect does this) to create passive income.

2. Online Courses & Workshops

🎓 The Idea: Package your expertise into a course or workshop and sell it. This is most of what we cover here in this newsletter so this should be pretty obvious by now.
📈 Why It Works: People will pay for shortcuts to success. You aren’t saying you are the BEST at that thing, you’re just farther along than the person you help.

Examples:

• “Learn to Play guitar in 60 days”… “The fast way to 1,000 subscribers”…

• Live workshops on “Going viral”

🔥 Pro Tip: Pre-sell your course before building it to validate demand (and avoid wasting time). You just tell people it’s coming, they buy early access and they save by buying early.

3. Membership Communities

👥 The Idea: Create a paid community where your audience gets access to exclusive content or networking. I teach 14 different things you can provide but a few of them would be “live calls with experts”, “weekly accountability sessions”, “step-by-step tutorials” etc.
📈 Why It Works: Recurring revenue = stability. Build community, get paid to help people make progress.

Examples:

• A PaidCommunity for homesteaders looking to connect with others.

• A PaidCommunity for moms that want to earn income online.

🔥 Pro Tip: Make your community feel exclusive with limited spots or application-only access. Personally I like raising the price every 50 members.

4. Done-for-You Services

🛠️ The Idea: Offer marketing services like paid ads, copywriting, or funnel building.
📈 Why It Works: People are willing to pay top dollar for done-for-you solutions.

Examples:

• $5K/month retainers for Facebook Ad management.

• $3K website funnel builds for eCommerce brands.

🔥 Pro Tip: Focus on high-ticket clients to avoid spreading yourself too thin. People who make a lot of money don’t have a lot of time, so you can offer to do things they don’t have time to.

5. Sponsored Content & Partnerships

🤝 The Idea: Partner with brands to promote their products through your channels. Whether you have a small audience on social media, a newsletter, a youtube channel, you can get paid sponsors pretty easily!
📈 Why It Works: Big brands need eyeballs.

Examples:

• A Newsletter that is sponsored by someone. Our newsletter is a great example!

• A paid Instagram post promoting a design app.

🔥 Pro Tip: Only work with brands your audience genuinely aligns with to avoid trust issues.

6. Ad Revenue from Platforms

📺 The Idea: Earn a share of ad revenue from content platforms. This would be like being on Youtube, when they show your videos to people and someone sees an ad, you get a cut.
📈 Why It Works: Leverage the platforms you’re already using to make money. Instead of just consuming… go create for these platforms.

Examples:

• YouTube Partner Program.

• TikTok Creator Fund.

🔥 Pro Tip: Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized clips to maximize reach (and revenue).

7. Coaching or Consulting

🎙️ The Idea: Offer one-on-one sessions to help clients solve specific problems. It’s much more simple than most people think. If you have done something, others will pay you to help them skip the hardest parts.
📈 Why It Works: High ROI for clients means they’ll pay premium prices. If they have someone helping them, they are most likely to get results. It’s like having a personal trainer vs. just going to the gym alone.

Examples:

• $300/hour strategy calls for social media growth.

• $1,500 VIP days for in-depth funnel builds.

8. White-Labeling & Reselling Services

🔄 The Idea: Resell services or tools under your own brand. This can take a good bit of technical work in the beginning but it gives you a working product much more quickly than if you did it on your own.

🎤 The Idea: Get paid to share your expertise at events or online. This can be in a bunch of different categories. Did you know you can get paid to be on Podcasts!? The right person can get paid for just about anything. I did the online version of this and call it a “PaidMasterclass”. I sell information for $97 and do a one time live event online.
📈 Why It Works: Builds credibility and connects you to high-value audiences.

Examples:

• $5K+ speaking fees at marketing summits.

• Hosting a paid webinar for $99 per attendee.

🔥 Pro Tip: Build something that you can teach in 2-4 hours that will help someone get a specific result.

The combination of making them all happen is where the magic is. No they won’t all come at the same time, but you can pick ONE and chase after it in 2025 and it will open up the others.
