5 Step Paid Creator Framework For Getting Paid For Your Content
Use this simple 5 step process for creating better content and making more from that content

I have a confession to make. I used to SUCK at making content. I would struggle big time because content was overwhelming. I had a lot to say but didn’t know how to say it in 60 second to make it into a fancy reel. None of my content went “viral” and I felt like social media was pointless because the only person who commented on my content was my mom… (thanks mom)
So I did what any smart person would do and started stealing other successful peoples strategies.
I didn’t just copy what they were doing, I analyzed the commonality between successful content from different channels. To be completely honest this only took about 12 hours of work and I had a ton of help from our friend ChatGPT along the way.
But after that 12 hours I had a 5 step framework for creating content that worked on every distribution channel I tried it on.
When I consistently posted, using this framework, to any social channel… I got followers and sales to my products.
When I consistently used this framework in my email marketing, I made more sales.
When I consistently used this framework to make my ad copy, I got better conversions and more engagement.
So… What is the 5 step framework? I thought you’d never ask.
The 5 Step PaidCreators Framework For Creation Content:
The Hook:
You only have seconds to grab attention in a crowded feed. A strong hook isn't just about being flashy; it's about being relevant. When you know your audience deeply, you can craft hooks that speak directly to their desires and pain points. Think of the hook as your way of saying, "This is for YOU." But don’t say “This is for you”. You have to think outside the box and remember that the hook is mostly about capturing attention and doesn’t have to tell the whole story. In an ad, the hook is the first 2 sentences of the ad copy or the first 5-15 seconds of the video.
Here are some Hook frameworks and examples that make for amazingly viral content:i. Challenges or Dares
Ex: "I bet my wife she could eat the entire pint of ice cream in 10 minutes!"ii. Before and After
Ex: "I was a 16 handicap and I’ve had 10 lessons... here’s my handicap now."iii. Unboxing or Reviews
Ex: "POV: You just got your new non-toxic pans for your Airbnb rental."iv. Pranks and Comedy Sketches
Ex: "I pretended someone stole my wife’s car, her reaction was NOT what I expected."v. Behind the Scenes
Ex: "I homeschool 3 kids, here’s what my life looks like behind the scenes."vi. Listicles
Ex: "Top 5 things you need if you’re [fill in the blank]."
One of the major keys that helps make a great hook is if the hook (which is clearly in the beginning) isn’t resolved until the VERY end. IN the first example I use a challenge hook of my wife eating ice cream. The VERY end of the video would reveal if she’s able to do it, not a moment sooner. This will increase my watch time, increasing the virality on the algorithm (regardless of where you post it, more watch time will always help)Background:
Too often, we rush to the point. But powerful content takes time to develop. Share context, create intrigue, and set the stage. It’s about building a connection—letting your audience feel like they’re being let into a story, not just hearing another pitch. This approach creates trust and keeps your audience engaged.
This is a great example of viral piece of content that has a cool hook that engages you, and then he goes “back to the beginning” He sets the stage that he’s going to do a “before and after” style piece of content so we are ALL hooked to see the after. But immediately after the hook he gives us details on what he started with. This digs us deeper in and tells a more complete story.
Conflict:
Here’s where things get relatable. Every great story has tension. Sharing challenges or common frustrations humanizes you and your brand. Whether you're discussing a struggle in business or a personal experience, this element makes your content relatable, allowing your audience to say, "I’ve been there, too."
This can be something super detailed, or can be something very relatable and easy to understand. There is always a conflict in a story. Think about Disney movies… they all have a bad guy in them right? Good stories need evidence that you “overcame something” and this helps make your entire story relatable.
Here’s another example, watch this one when he says “But there are some caveats”… boom… CONFLICT to balance out the content.
Resolution:
After sharing the conflict, offer a clear solution. This part of the strategy isn’t just about saying, "Look at how I succeeded." It’s about giving value. The key is to position your resolution as something actionable that your audience can apply in their own lives, showing them a path forward.
All of these examples have great resolutions but the resolution should always link back to the hook and resolve that “open loop” you create in the beginning. You can do that with a formal call to action or a plain resolution. The previous content all uses the “Resolution” format and now we’ll cover the last option.Call to Action (CTA):
While a CTA is often seen as a tactical step, strategically, it's about balance. You don't want to overwhelm your audience by always asking for something every single time. In fact, most content shouldn’t have a CTA. But when you do, make it subtle and purposeful—something that feels like the next natural step in their journey.
This post from Atticus bread absolutely hits on what we want a good piece of content to have. Great visuals, interesting hook that is directly tied to the ending, and in the ending he gives you a Call to Action to get his ebook.
Getting Paid To Make This Content
You’ll notice that almost all of the people in the examples above are using their content to sell something.
Whether it’s their own course, coaching, ebooks to get opt ins, you name it… all of these pieces of content help these Creators make money WHILE going viral.
Personally, I’m not big on posting content and hoping it gets seen. My social game isn’t that strong honestly. I prefer to use this content strategy in a more direct way. So I took this entire 5 step system for making content and applied it to my Facebook ads and to my email marketing and things got VERY interesting.
Our biggest objectives at PaidCreators is to help average people become PaidCreators by monetizing Content and Community.
With this content strategy, you can do both!
As you build a Facebook group, you need compelling content to lead the group… now you have a framework.
As you run ads to your favorite offer, you need good ad copy to capture attention… now you have a framework.
As you build your email list you will need to send emails to your new audience… now you have a framework.
I use this content creation framework to create all kinds of content, but I’m mostly using it with my direct marketing strategies.
Your Next Steps To Getting Content To Make You Money
Choose a niche! One thing you will hopefully notice about the content I shared above, they are all in different niches and THAT is why they do so well. They are very specific in who they are talking to, now their content will resonate with that audience more, so a good content framework has a real chance of gaining traction.
Using social media, opt in pages, and Groups on Facebook you can use this Framework to attract people that are interested in what you are interested in… and then continue to make this content to convert them.
There you have it! A formal content strategy you can use every single day to make it easier to write emails, write ads, film content videos, you name it…
No more having to guess or wonder what to do.
But would you believe me if I said there’s more to this? I know, wild right? The framework is a huge piece of getting this to work but what about finding inspiration for what to talk about?
That’s where my 13 stories come in. I’ve outlined 13 different stories you can tell that work perfectly with the framework above and give you an entire years worth of content, and I’ll give them all to you for free.
