Inside The Numbers: How We Generated $500,000 Selling $27 Digital Products In 9 Months
As I write this, it’s the day after Black Friday. A day that, typically, most business owners LOVE because they put some great discounts on their offers and they have an excuse to promote hard to make a lot of sales.
“Black Friday” has built in scarcity because it’s supposed to be one day (even though most brands are promoting their offers for weeks). It’s a weekend that has most of the marketing biases that get people to buy, baked into it.
Well… I basically skipped this Black Friday and didn’t make a new offer. I didn’t discount anything, I didn’t run any new ads, I did the bare minimum in emailing my audience a GREAT (but not discounted) offer.
Personally, I’ve always preferred bundling UP than discounting DOWN on my offers… so I created a bundle offer that will only be available during Black Friday weekend. Yes, it’s a great offer (you can see here) but that’s not what I’m going to talk about here today.
Now… here’s why I bring that up. While everyone else was working like a dog to build these amazing new offers and running ads and slaving over content to push their products in the noisiest season of the year.
I did virtually none of that, I took the rest I needed to be honest, yet my Buyer Loop was still working and yesterday (again, without a big Black Friday push) our digital products generated 28,742 in revenue on $6,224 in ad spend.


(I hate when people throw numbers around but don’t prove it… so I always try to provide proof that I’m actually doing what I teach)
So instead of giving you another useless “here’s what I did for Black Friday” training that you won’t be able to use… I’d rather outline what I’ve built that allowed me not to have to go crazy during Black Friday and likely profit more than most companies who discounted everything they sell to next to nothing.
Today I want to give you an idea, a moment of Inception that hopefully snaps your brain into creator mode and gets you pumping sales in December and starting 2026 with momentum!
First, you need to understand why I call my “funnel system” a “Buyer Loop” and what separates it from anything else you may have heard.
My goal, as a business owner, is to create new leads and build a marketing system that gets those leads to ascend into my other programs. Obviously those programs are created to help them on their journey so it’s a win/ win.
To generate that lead, we want to be as close to BREAK EVEN on our time and effort as possible. Personally, I would rather spend money than time. I have two young kids and don’t want to look back with regret that I used my time to make money when I could have used my money, we’ll come back to this.
So if our goal is to get as close to break even as possible to generate a lead, AND I’m going to spend MONEY to do it.. we need a “funnel” that will allow me to spend money on ads (I used Meta ads specifically) while making that money back in the funnel.
I have tried EVERYTHING in my 15 years online.
Webinar funnels, challenge funnels, high ticket, VSL funnels, you name it…
The system that worked for me was a low ticket digital product, but a product that meets these specific criteria.
It has to be simple to understand the benefit of the product for the person suffering from the problem. If you help entrepreneurs make better content, and you sell a template pack of 50 different proven winners… that is EASY to understand immediately. This makes it easier to sell.
It has to be priced in a way that doesn’t require pause for thought. We want the decision to buy our product to be one that there is ZERO stress behind. Remember, we are just meeting these people and they don’t know us, or trust us (since we are running ads). Make the sales easy.
It has to be delivered quickly. The most common mistake I see with people building “digital products” is that they make them bloated. You want your customers to feel A benefit of your product within minutes if possible. What is something you can give your customers IMMEDIATELY (without teaching them anything) that could get them a result? Find that… sell that.
If you can match those details, you are starting the loop. The goal is to be able to create as many of these types of products as possible so think in terms of:
Checklists
Prompts
Guides
Recipes
Follow Along
Templates
etc
If you can do the work AND instruct people on how to do something, they are way more likely to buy from you. Now we’ve made the first sale simple, there’s a high liklihood people are going to buy.
Let’s assume we can wrap our head around making a simple front end product… this is where things start to get a bit more technical so I wanted to reiterate that the front end is THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE of what you’re going to create.
If your front end isn’t good, nothing else you do will matter.
Here’s the “bad news”. If you are going to run ads, your $27 front end offer will NEVER be good enough, on it’s own, to make you money. You will lose money running ads unless you introduce “upsells”. Personally, I prefer a different type of “Upsell” and I go with “One Time Offers”.
My OTO’s (one time offers) are very simple to understand and always follow the same system.
OTO 1 is always selling MORE SPEED and MORE AUTOMATION. Bundle a bunch of assets together that are normally sold separately and will save your customer more time.
“Hey, you already want to (insert their goal here)… I have already done that and these are the assets I use”.
Easy to sell… which is why our conversion rate on this is typically well above 25% at $97.

You can see above, our first offer converts around 2% across all of our traffic and has generated over $500,000 in revenue this year… but another $500,000 came from OTO1 and that’s obviously CRUCIAL!
Without OTO1 converting at 25%+… this offer wouldn’t work and I’ll break down the math. But let’s not overlook OTO2, that is $199 and also pulled in nearly $250,000 this year. I call this One Time Offer, “Hybrid Access”.
These One time offers, and this is incredibly important, are TRULY ONE TIME OFFERS.
This adds real urgency/ scarcity to the funnel which most people are lacking. Too many entrepreneurs make “upsells” which are just more of what they already sold. More Training, more modules, more work for the end user… which is why it doesn’t convert.
To get a $27 buyer costs me… you ready?

That’s right… I spend $100 to get someone to spend $27 in my Buyer Loop. But on average, thanks to my Buyer Loop being triggered and my back end ascension being in place we make over $200 from every $27 buyer that comes into our Buyer Loop.

This means I can spend $200 to get a $27 buyer, but right now I only have to spend $100. It’s a numbers game! You have to get outside of the mindset that you’re only trying to get a $27 buyer…

You have to understand these numbers to make this work. I see far too many digital creators failing because they are trying to “play nice” and just sell a $27 offer and can’t figure out why they can’t scale with ads.
You can’t scale because your average customer is worth less than you are paying to get them. It’s honestly simple.
Most people are trying to solve for the wrong problem. They think “I need to create something else” or “I need to sell a different way”… that’s not the problem.
You need to solve “I need to make more from each customer, in a shorter time frame”.
The SINGLE BIGGEST problem you need to solve is “how can I get each customer to be worth more, quickly”.
The funnel does part of that… good One Time Offers… but my goal with my funnel is just to break even and attract my ideal prospect.
Now the team can get to work, my follow up offers can do their job, and the rest of my future marketing has eyeballs to go to. This is why I call it a Buyer Loop.
We start low, with cold audience, and can scale infinitely…
Let’s break down how this looks for us and why this Buyer Loop is so incredible.
We now have an easy to consume offer we sell 24/7… we have the ability to spend money on Meta ads and they find our ideal client. We maximize our return from every customer and minimize the time window it takes to get that return.
We get to spend our time working with our clients instead of making content constantly trying to attract them…
The reason I call my system a “Buyer Loop” is because we think about all of the details that make it easier for us to be profitable… we think about all of the details that help us run ads to cold audience and spend $6,000/ day PROFITABLY without an organic audience… we think about ascending people into our back end offers quickly…
A Buyer Loop is built to get your buyers in the door easily and consistently, but then also factors in ascending them into turning your business into a highly profitable one.
So how to use this IMMEDIATELY? You have to start with some sort of quick front end offer… something easy to consume.
So head over to AI right now and make sure it knows what you do (I like ChatGPT for this) and ask it to help you create something that your ideal client would love to have that it can build for you.
No special prompts… no crazy details… just talk to AI to find out what is an easy to understand product you could create with AI. Start there and see where it takes you. Whatever it gives you, work it… make it better… have it do some research with you.
Next thing you know… you start selling. Then you can figure out your OTO’s, then you maximize your back end revenue, then you figure out how much each customers is making you and you can start to spend more to acquire a buyer.
The name of the game is “How can I spend more to acquire a buyer” not… “How can I get a buyer for less”.
Make that change… your sales and revenue will SKY ROCKET!
