Part 4 of 7 | Building Your Automated Pitch Process To Generate Sales 24/7

An Automated Pitch Process is the key ingredient to your online business and will work like your best salesman and marketer

Now we know what we are going to sell and where “we belong”, we also know who we will sell to, it’s time to start building our Automated Pitch Process… the machine that will sell our membership offering 24 hours a day… 7 days a week.

If you missed the previous posts, We’ll link them here

The name might sound complicated, Automated Pitch Process, but it is actually simple and only requires the proper process and some setup. After you have this setup, it works on repeat every day… doing the world for you of reaching your ideal prospect constantly.

Every heard of the “Rule of 7”? It’s a theory we use online that states that you need to reach your audience 7 times before they will buy from you. After 15 years online and selling multiple millions of dollars online I can tell you… this is true. There are so many online businesses that failed due to their lack of understanding this.

I see it all the time, someone launches an offer/ product and tells 10 people about it and gets demotivated that no one buys… Let’s talk some percentages so that you understand how this game works.

I call this the 56/40/3 rule…

56% of your audience won’t buy from you, no matter what you do. If you sell a community that helps real estate agents sell more… and you are targeting real estate agents and they definitely need help… how do you know they didn’t just invest in a huge $10,000 Real Estate skills improvement program? That person is just not going to buy from you because they have already fulfilled that purchase need.

40% of your audience will buy from someone soon… they are likely shopping. Have you ever done this? Maybe you are looking for an outdoor grill and you go from website to website checking prices and model information. You aren’t going to buy TODAY but you are definitely going to buy soon right?

3% of your audience will buy from someone right now if the offer is right and fits their needs. We obviously want to be the one to get all of these, but we won’t… so we need to get as many as we can.

(I always reserve 1% to go between each category)

Understanding those numbers above means that you need to pay a LOT of attention to that “Rule of 7” idea and don’t get disheartened when you tell someone about your offer one time and they don’t buy… that just means you got a lot of people that aren’t in that 3% yet… if you give up now you’ll never get those 40% people to buy from you.

This is where the Automated Pitch Process comes in. Some people call this a “funnel” but I think that’s a little too “open ended”. We need to keep it simple, keep it clean, keep it organized, and lean on automation to help us reach our prospects 10-15 times to ensure that we get the message across.

That’s all marketing is… showing up a lot to give your audience a chance to make a decision and to see the product from multiple angles. If we do that, our community or digital product can thrive.

My A.P.P. is usually simple. (I teach the entire process, over the shoulder, and in great detail in our PaidCreators Community… it’s not too late to join us!) This is intentional so that I know what the (and there will be many) problems are. I usually build with an “MVP - Minimum Viable Product” in mind. What’s the least I can do to get this sucker selling.

Here’s a simple layout I use when creating a new business.

Newsletter Opt In Process - This is a two page “funnel”. You have an opt in page and a “thank you page” for after someone opts in. If you’re comfortable, put a sales message on the thank you page… if you’re not, just say thanks. I ALWAYS make an offer on the thank you page. Newsletters are MASSIVELY under rated. A great way to get people to listen to you. If you are going to launch a community to help people overcome addiction (or at least help them try)… a GREAT way to break into their ecosystem is to offer a newsletter where they can find out that you’re helpful.

Sales Page - I have a confession. I ALWAYS use an order page with a video on it. It just works! Here… let me prove it

This design is my JAM! Simple headline, video outlining what people get and why they should join, and an order form. It stacks on mobile and looks great. SUPER simple, and takes less than an hour to customize. You don’t have to use this forever, but it’s a great way to create your MVP to get you sales.

Automations - I could spend all day talking about automations and this is a BIG reason I love Wealthery Connect (what you get when you join our Mastermind). It has everything you need to build this ENTIRE BUSINESS in one software. That page above, was built in Connect… the product is sold in Connect… the automations run through Connect. It’s amazing. When I say “Automations” I am mostly talking about email sequences that are sent automatically when someone opts in to my newsletter. You can set it up so that they are getting multiple different emails across as many days as you want. This is where you will start to reach your customers more than 7 times… meaning you will make sales.

Think about this. By having a setup that takes your prospects through your ecosystem from Free newsletter to paid community, all done through websites that are built quickly and automated emails (you can also use SMS) allows you to manage the community instead of having to spend all of your time marketing. You have a full time sales person online at all times that you just have to send people to.

You tell people on social media about your newsletter or community… and then you link them to your “always on” sales person that starts a sequence that will guarantee your message reaches these people 7+ times.

Truthfully, an MVP version of your Automated Pitch Process should only really take 2 days to setup. One day to set up the pages (if you have templates, which we give our Mastermind members) and one day to write the automations that will automatically be sent to everyone who opts in for your newsletter.

If you close your eyes and think about it… THIS is the “internet freedom” lifestyle that people are being sold right?

You build a community that has some helpful training and documents that others can consume whenever they want and ongoing. You then spend 1-3 hours a day (depending on how much time you have) to attract people to you via social media. This could be as simple as sending friend requests on Facebook to people you think would be a good customer.

Then you set out on your mission to get these people to hear about your offer 7 times. I promise you, this is one of the most overlooked things in business. You need to talk about your product more, be louder, be unapologetically in search of new prospects. make more than 1 post a week.

When you are linking people to a sales channel that works around the clock collecting email addresses and giving you a deeper contact point with these prospects. Your emails go out automatically, your product is delivered automatically, your customers are being serviced “One to many” and not “one to one” so you aren’t spending as much time delivering as you might otherwise.

This is a business that can be run from anywhere, can be started in your spare time, and brings AMAZING value to the customers. The best part? It can also be a 7 figure business. I know because, I do it.

Heck… have a look at these two beauties:

These are screen shots of automated communities I’ve built in the last year. One did $195k in revenue, the other did $327k. All in one calendar year. The product prices were less than $50 and the products themselves were really easy to deliver on going.

These were $50 products with AVERAGE Lifetime Values of almost $250… This is the power of an automated pitch process and a recurring community!

The key is to build that automated pitch process and get to work introducing people to your offer so these automations can do their thing.

That’s the crucial part right? Getting people to SEE this automated pitch process? Well… lucky for you, that’s NEXT!

Our next edition of this series will cover How To Get Your First 100 Sales.

What you do during those first 100 sales isn’t the same as what you’ll do when you have 100 members. Your marketing and growth has the ability to change because you have funds, and those funds can be directed to media to get you sales. But when you start, you won’t likely have the ability to spend on media… so your first 100 sales comes from thoughtful outreach.

I’ll teach you what we do in our next episode…

But before you go, I’d LOVE for you to share this newsletter. We are trying to grow and want to share this PaidCreators methodology with as many people as we can. If you found this article, or any of our information helpful… PLEASE use the link below to share away!

We’ll be back next week with Part 5 where we focus on getting your first 100 sales… so if GETTING sales has been a struggle for you, you won’t want to miss this because I’ll give you a gameplan that FLAT OUT WORKS!

See you at the top,

Travis Stephenson
